What you'll need: A dual lens camera, a digital camera, and a self-made tube. I could explain the entire process but Hula Seventy explains it perfectly.
Through the viewfinder (TtV) of a Kodak Duaflex II:

Let the fun begin. My first shot, looking out to our snow covered backyard. Definitely out of focus but I like the mood it gives.

My nephew Cole. He has a fascination with cameras and taking pictures. He has a little rudolph nose because he's been sick recently and a lot of tissues were used. I think it's pretty cute.
My niece Morgan wanted to me to take pictures of everything. Especially her Willy the Wildcat t-shirt and her My Little Pony book.
Morgan reading to me. This is one of my favorites from of this group.
Another one of my favorites. I admire her expression. She was looking up at me, not really sure what I was doing.
I really enjoyed the process. I need to adjust the tube length to make it a bit longer. Other than that, it worked well. I am ready for the snow to go away and the sun to shine. Well warmer temperatures is what I'm really looking for. I enjoy the heat and prefer it when outdoors. I will keep exploring this technique throughout the year. My friend Jimmy also tried his hand at some TtV action. You can check out his shots here. Happy Saturday!!
Morgan loves the pictures! Me too, me too!
That is so super cool! I love this technique. I had heard people talking about it but never really knew what it was. I've been eyeing a couple of cameras online. I must get one now:-) Cool post, Amy!
