New sewing project - pennants

My Aunt Sherry is graduating today. Yay! My Aunt Carol and I are throwing her a college graduation BBQ. Her school colors are blue and red. I wanted to make something for it. I've seen pennants on several blogs and thought it was a fun idea, so I thought I'd give it a try. I haven't used a sewing machine since I was 13. I borrowed my mom's. I'm not going to explain what I did in detail simply because I don't know sewing terminology. I started at Sew 4 Home and went from there. I really enjoyed making the pennants, and I am already thinking about what project I will be working on next.

Purchased my fabric

Used the pennant template from the blog mentioned above. After I pinned this round I decided not to pin and just use my ruler and pinking shears rotary cutter. Worked much faster and the lines were still clean.
