About a month ago I took several shots of Alexis for the birth announcement cards I created. I didn't want to post the pictures too early, before everyone got their announcements, but I'm hoping everyone has received their card by now. Tomorrow I'll post the baby announcement.
For the photo shoot, she was wide awake. I planned on a sleeping baby, but that's okay. I had many poses in mind, but she was too squirmy for that. She's so cute no matter how you shoot her really. She wasn't fussy at all, until we took off her clothes for some natural poses. I caught one good one at the end before she had enough. I'm happy with the way these turned out.
I'm going to shoot more of her in the next couple weeks since she changes so much in this early stage of life. I want to capture that for Jeff and Candice. It's funny how Alexis looks so different in some of these pictures. It almost looks like a different baby. Must be the angles and different lenses.

Absolutely precious, Amy:-)
Did someone make that blanket? I want one!
The blanket in the first pic or the colorful one? The blanket in the first, my great grandma made. The colorful one is a scarf I got as a gift. :) I believe it came from Kohl's. They may have a few left.
Oh she's sooooo stinkin cute! beautiful pictures! I'm going to have to have another kid so you can take pictures for me!! ;-)
Oh Amy, she is absolutely gorgeous! Newborns are so innocent, it brings tears to my eyes. Again, what is it with your pics?!?! They have no idea of what the world is and you just want to preserve that feeling for them and keep it that way. I'm sure you are a very proud aunt and Jeff is a proud daddy. She's beautiful!
