Yellena James creates incredible drawings and paintings. I first came across her work on Etsy while browsing for who knows what. I easily get distracted on my original intent when visiting Etsy. There is so much to look at and so many creative people out there, it's easy to lose focus.
I've purchased three of Yellena's prints so far. I'm not sure where they are going in my house yet, but for now, they are safely stored away. Her style is unique, whimsical and full of details. I visualize underwater life — anemone, coral reefs, octopus and jellyfish floating in a sea of illustrative beauty. Her pen and ink work blows me away. The first three below are ones I've purchased, and the rest are ones I also appreciate! Visit her Etsy site to see more work or visit her blog.

These would be perfect in my living room. I love the last 4 the most. Good colors in them, the shades are cool too. Quite inspiring, makes me want to draw!
So crazy! I was going to comment above that these pics make me think of the ocean and that was before I read what you posted above. I got the same feeling when looking at these, kind of relaxing! You know what they say...great minds think alike! :)
