I do a lot of creating, photography and baking on my blog, and I am going to start focusing on things that inspire me. Once a week (my goal) I will feature something I've came across over the past week that's inspired me. It could be anything. Type, art, patterns, clothing, a photographer — the possibilities are endless. Being a graphic designer, I am constantly seeking visual stimulation, trends, color, illustration, exploring new and creative techniques — I could go on and on. There are so many things that wow me (and there are so many things that don't). I'll show you what I like and what drives me to become a better designer, creator, baker and photographer. I'll title these posts "A dose of inspiration". Let the good times begin! One of my favorite blogs, How About Orange, blogged about some gifts she received for her birthday. That's when I first came across this stunning jewelry, and I'm not a big jewelry girl. I wear the standard wedding ring, thumb ring, earrings and the occasional necklace. But this is different. It's art. It's laser cut! ( I <3 laser cut.) Each piece is so unique and I can't quit looking at them! The site is molly m designs and listed below are a several of my favorite pieces. She even sells laser cut prints. Besides purchasing from this site, the closest location to me is Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City. Next time Jake and I are there, we'll have to swing by to check out the jewelry and see what new installation Kemper has up.
I tried to narrow these down...
