For the next 20 hours (including sleepy time) I will be shaping and creating these cakes into one cake for my niece's birthday tomorrow. Alexis will be one!! Any guesses on what it might be? If you already know the answer because I told you or you saw me post about it on Twitter, maybe you can make something else up!
This is going to be quite the cake if I can pull it off. What I have in my head looks pretty cool. Hopefully when I'm done, it will look fairly close to my mental picture. I need to do some sketching to work out the details. I'll create a post this weekend, to talk about the process and to show you the finished product - regardless of the outcome. :)
I've been printing more of my photography lately — gearing up for an Etsy shop — and I wanted to frame one to have in the house. This the first print of mine I've had framed! Pretty exciting. It's hanging in my bathroom. The wall across from it is close to the color of peanut butter. It's the chocolate, peanut butter bathroom.

This weekend I will be figuring out how to turn a (clean) fly swatter into a piece of jewelry :D
