My niece Breyya flew in from South Carolina for a week to visit and have Christmas with us. She went back to South Carolina yesterday. She's nine and will be ten on January 13. Breyya means so much to me. I had to share her with other family members, so I didn't have her for the entire week, but we got to spend the weekend together. I didn't take too many pictures, just a few with my point and shoot. On Saturday, family came over and we played Wii most of the evening. It was my first time playing. I really liked it, except my arms were so sore for the next three days – apparently I'm out of shape.
Yes people. This is me in raw form. No makeup – I can't believe I actually posted this. But aren't the girls so cute?
On Sunday, Breyya and I spent the day together. We went to the movies and saw Gulliver's Travels. It was her pick. We both really liked it. It was light, humorous and Jack Black is a goofball.
After the movie we ate at Jose Peppers and shared a taco salad. Breyya really wanted one. I knew it would be too much for her to eat so we split it. We couldn't even finish the plate! I do think she ate more than I did though. That evening we watched Enchanted while taking the Christmas tree down. After the tree was down, I realized I did not take one single picture of my tree this year. I even had new ornaments! I guess there is always next year.

Your niece is beautiful..love the shot with the taco salad. Made me giggle.
We got a Wii for Christmas and after the first day playing baseball and golf, my arms were so sore!! I was mortified. That's my clue to step up my workout schedule. Thanks for sharing and Happy Thursday.
love this post amy, so happy you had a good visit with Breyya.
Your niece is a doll and I can tell she is going to be beautiful the older she becomes. She has great eyes. I thought your picture of 'in the raw' was wonderful. You have natural beauty 'darling' don't ever be ashamed.
