Here's the start of many recipes I used for the baby shower. I searched extensively for a punch recipe to make. As much as I love sherbet, I was looking for a drink without it. I found this recipe but don't remember where. I went to so many Web sites, I didn't keep track of it. I put my own spin on this one though. It's a tad on the sweet side, but I think that's what a punch should taste like. A squeeze of lemon would make it even better.Pink Punch
INGREDIENTS
1 can frozen pink lemonade
1 can frozen pineapple juice
1 small jar maraschino cherries with juice
2 two-liters 7-up
1/2 lemon, squeezed plus thin slices
DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients together and voila, pink punch! Serve immediately. Cut the lemon into thin rounds to float for eye appeal. Several hours before making the punch, freeze a round mold filled with a small amount of water and a few tbsp. of maraschino cherry juice to keep the punch chilled.
love this! i'm all about maraschino cherries. i'd be happy getting a jar of those for christmas. :)
Aren't they so good? The recipe called for just the cherry juice, but I thought the whole jar would be best ... and it was.
