Hello friends. Have I been MIA or what?!?! As you may know, when life gets busy, my blog is usually the first thing to go. I started a new job the beginning of August and have been super busy. But the good thing is, I really love my job, so I don't mind. I do miss blogging though. So here I am all bright-eyed and bushy tailed.
In my last cake post, I mentioned I wouldn't be doing cakes anymore due to time issues. But here I go blogging about a recent cake I've made. I decided I'll do one cake a month if I'm asked. It will help keep my fondant skills up to par.
This cake was made for my good friend Jen's daughter, Kayla, who turned 13. Kayla picked out the colors, cake type and polka dot theme. It's a neapolitan cake.
White, chocolate and red velvet
What a fun cake...I love the polkadots:-) You have been missed in the blog world, but it is totally understandable since it's for work and all!
Love this cake :) The colors she picked out are awesome!!
i do not get along with fondant. i wish i did, because this cake is adorable.
