My week has been a little abstract. I feel like things aren't exactly clear or concrete. I have so many thoughts running through my head, sometimes they get intertwined, and it's hard to unravel them. I feel I'm in need of a change in my life. What that may be is a little unclear. Maybe a new hair color or a different car, a job or a change in profession. It's hard to say. The year is almost over, maybe that is why I feel a change coming on. I reflect back on 2010, and I like what I see. How can I make next year even better?
Today, my work Christmas party starts at 12:30. I'm not sure what we'll be doing. It's always a surprise. I like surprises.
I hope everyone has a spectacular, stress-free weekend; the last shopping weekend before Christmas. I don't know about you, but it snuck on me. Are you ready for Christmas?

I have felt caught in the sea of abstractness recently, too. It's those times that I cling more tightly to Jesus, because even though I don't know what's going to happen, He always does.
I cannot believe Christmas is a week away! I love Christmas; there's always such joy around this season.
Also - I love your blog design!
I love the beautiful pictures on your blog... definitely inspiring.

Ready? Hmmm. I think so, didn't really do anything, so yep, got the music, the decorations, the tree, the fam all at home, life is good!
Have a wonderful weekend!

With a new year on the horizon, I tend to have similar feelings of the "abstract" as well. I do love the transition, though...always a great opportunity for growth.
And in answer to your question, no, I'm not ready for Christmas! I want(ed) to really savor the season this year, but I have been so preoccupied lately that the month is just flying by. I can't believe Christmas is next week. Sigh.
Have a lovely weekend, new friend.
I can totally relate to your feeling. So much is happening all at once. I think I. need to set aside some 'me' time to plan for the coming year and settle my thoughts
I also not ready for Christmas, oh well I have a few days left to pull it all together.
Happy hols
