Recently I took a trip to Forth Worth, TX to see a good friend. On my way home, I decided to make a few stops. The University of North Texas campus is right off I-35 in Denton. I pass it every time I visit and was curious to see it more intimately. The weather was gorgeous, and I've been itching to get out and take photos, so I took the exit. Driving around Denton, I stumbled across some facinating graffiti art. Amazing work and even better to experience in person.

ReplyDeleteHave you ever seen graffiti artists at work?? I had the privilege once and it was cool to watch. The way they spray paint at the exact spots is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love graffiti. It is art. Very cool street art! So glad you took a moment to stop and be inspired. Life is so much better when we do that!

ReplyDeleteAs much as a graffiti is a no no some of it is very beautiful. I have actually been wanting to find some to photograph around here, but they are all pretty ghetto. Nothing real artistic. Just found your blog through Sweet Shot Tuesday. http://throughaphotographerseyes.blogspot.com/

ReplyDeleteVery, very cool! Did you see the movie, "Exit Through the Gift Shop" about our contemporary street artists? It was incredible. Jenn/Rook No. 17
ReplyDeleteYes, Jenn. I really liked Exit Through the Gift Shop. Couldn't say I was crazy happy about the success of Mr. Brainwash though.
